Kings Park Capital completes investment in

Kidspace Adventure Holdings

KPC has completed its 6th investment from Fund II in Kidspace Adventure Holdings (“KAHL”), an operator of family-focused visitor attractions located in the South-East of England.

KAHL was founded in 2005 by Richard Farley and Nick De Candole. It operates two indoor adventure play centres for children in Croydon and Romford, and Hobbledown, a 32 acre farm park attractions business in Epsom, Surrey. Hobbledown offers a wide range of activities for a broader family experience: traditional farm animals as well as birds of prey, wallabies, meerkats and camels; outdoor adventure play including high ropes and nets; large indoor play facility and restaurant. In 2018 these three sites attracted a combined 540,000 visitors.

Additionally, KAHL has secured a 120 acre site in Hounslow, West London, which it intends to develop into a second Hobbledown site with KPC’s support.
KPC have known the business and management for over 10 years and will work with the founders to further invest in the existing sites and continue to add further sites to develop a leading family attractions business, focussed on the Hobbledown model. Andy Davies, former Commercial Director of the Tussauds Group and Commercial Services Director of Merlin Entertainments Group will join the Board as a non-executive director to support management.
